The Capsa de Música initiative returns to Castellbisbal for the fifth consecutive year, offering open-air musical performances every Friday in July at the Jardins de Can Margarit. Admission to all concerts is free and open to everyone, although capacity is limited, so early arrival is advised.
Doors will open at 8:30 PM. From this time until the concerts begin, attendees can enjoy dinner with the catering options available in the gardens. The Castellbisbal City Council reminds attendees that the doors will close 15 minutes after the show concludes.
This year's program, taking place on July 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st, combines "proposals from renowned artists with emerging musicians, performers from afar with those from very close by. And with a mix of styles so that everyone can feel comfortable," according to municipal sources.
The series will kick off on July 3rd with Roger Padrós, who will present an intimate voice and piano concert with Mediterranean pop influences. On July 10th, Aya & King will offer a journey through soul and R&B sounds, with a career spanning over 200 concerts in Europe. On July 17th, Buena Onda will celebrate their fifteenth anniversary with pop, rock, and rumba covers. On July 24th, Anna Bananahanack Band will pay tribute to great female soul and R&B voices. Finally, on July 31st, Lapiel, the author rock project by Barcelona-based Xavi Lapiel, will perform an intimate concert.
