After a period without celebrations, the La Cogullada Residents' Association has organized a festive day for this Sunday, June 28th, aiming to revive community spirit and bring life to the neighborhood. The festival, concentrated into a single day, features a diverse program designed to appeal to both children and adults.
The day will kick off at 9:30 AM with the La Cogullada + Neighborhoods Race, organized by the Consell Esportiu del Vallès Occidental, with proceeds going to the 'Todos contra Hisiocitosis' Association. Following this, at 10 AM, there will be hot chocolate with ladyfingers, a motorcycle gathering with music and entertainment by Chal’s Garage, and the final of the indoor football tournament at the Sports Facility.
Children's activities will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM, including sack races, painting, badge workshops, and face painting. At 11 AM, the Diables de La Maurina (fire dancers) will present the Cuca Dina with an exhibition, and at 12 PM, a boxing exhibition organized by the Boxing Club Terrassa will be held.
Midday will feature the traditional popular vermouth at Salvador Dalí square at 1 PM, followed by a community meal of 'fideuà' or rice at 2 PM for €7 (with a discount for members). A special system is in place for gluten-free rice paella orders before June 22nd.
The afternoon will continue with country music at 5 PM by the group La Juani, followed by a foam cannon and music at 6 PM by Set de So. At 7 PM, a group activity for the elderly called 'Chicas de oro del Roc Blanc' will take place, and at 8 PM, DJ Malaguilla will provide music and dancing for all ages.
The local festival will conclude at 10 PM with 'rom cremat' (spiced rum), marking the end of a day designed to encourage participation and neighborhood cohesion in La Cogullada.
