The Local Employment Services of Vallès Occidental achieved a labor insertion rate of 24% during the 2025 fiscal year, surpassing the average recorded across the province of Barcelona.

The labor insertion rate for the Local Employment Services (SLO) in Vallès Occidental stood at 24% during 2025, according to data published by the Diputació de Barcelona. This figure means that one in four people assisted found employment, placing the region two percentage points above the provincial average (22%).
During the 2025 period, the local services handled requests from 3,357 companies and supported 13,087 individuals in their job search. A total of 2,577 offers were managed, resulting in 3,912 labor insertions, with 3,116 people signing at least one contract.
Regarding the profile of those assisted, the majority were women (55.9%). In terms of age, 40.2% were individuals between 30 and 49 years old, mostly holding non-university post-compulsory education qualifications (41.3%).
The most demanded occupations by Vallès Occidental companies in 2025 were cleaning staff, followed by administrative personnel, and laborers for manufacturing industries. Furthermore, the SLO organized 52,262 actions to improve employability and 10,480 actions supporting talent search for companies.
