Plaça de l’Om in Sant Cugat del Vallès transformed on Friday, June 26th, into a stage for tradition and popular culture with the performance by Esbart Mediterrània. The group presented a show dedicated to traditional Catalan dance, taking the audience on a journey through movement and music.
The ensemble performed accompanied by the Cobla Marinada, led by maestro Dani Gasulla i Porta. The repertoire featured popular dances and original choreographies by various artists, with vocal contributions from Adrià Garcia Alegre. Artistic direction was managed by David Gil, Esther Madrona, Anna Mayol, and Francesc Picornell.
This presentation served to highlight the enduring relevance of traditional Catalan dance, introducing the Festa Major audience to a living cultural heritage through new creations and the efforts of local cultural organizations.
