The forest fire declared in Sentmenat has become more complex over the last few hours due to the emergence of secondary hotspots and adverse weather conditions that are hindering firefighting efforts.

Emergency teams have reported that the fire has intensified, particularly on the right flank, which is moving towards Caldes de Montbui. The situation has forced the continued lockdown of residents in el Farell, as well as the Can Vinyes and Mas d'Encisa areas in Sentmenat.
The affected area is currently estimated at around 100 hectares, although the potential for spread in this part of the Vallès region could reach 2,000 hectares. Firefighters have described the weather conditions as critical, with dry sea breezes contributing to the instability of the perimeter.
As a preventive measure, it has been decided to suspend summer camp activities in the municipality of Sentmenat to protect the population from smoke accumulation. Local authorities have urged citizens to avoid any unnecessary travel in the affected areas.
