The police intervention began around 05:30 AM, following an alert regarding a violent dispute within a residence in the co-capital of Vallès Occidental.
Officers from the Mossos d’Esquadra, alongside the Policia Municipal (Local Police), quickly arrived at the scene. They found the lifeless body of the victim, who showed clear signs of violence.
The officers located and detained the 49-year-old man at the same address due to his alleged connection to the death. Both the victim and the detainee were present when security forces arrived.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Northern Metropolitan Police Region has launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances surrounding the event and the relationship between the two men.
