The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested four men in Barberà del Vallès after discovering a marijuana plantation with over 1,200 plants hidden inside a fake logistics warehouse.

The police operation took place between February 18 and 19 in the Vallès Occidental region. The criminal group used a legitimate-looking logistics business as a front, complete with staff uniforms, set working hours, and a formal rental contract to avoid suspicion.
Officers seized 1,260 plants and 180 kilograms of processed marijuana. The suspects, aged between 31 and 47, are also accused of electricity theft totaling more than 58,000 euros to power the illegal cultivation equipment.
Two individuals were caught at the warehouse in Barberà del Vallès, while the remaining two were arrested the following day in Cerdanyola. All four appeared before a judge in Cerdanyola del Vallès on February 20.
