A minor has been arrested in Sabadell, accused of causing several container fires and public property damage during the night of Friday, April 17, to Saturday, April 18, mobilizing emergency services.

The night of Friday, April 17, to Saturday, April 18, was marked by several incidents of container fires in Sabadell, requiring the intervention of emergency services and police forces. These events culminated in the arrest of a minor, who is accused of a crime of public property damage.
The first alert was received at 10:18 PM on Narcís Giralt street, where a pile of rubbish and three containers caught fire. A unit of Bombers (firefighters) quickly deployed to the scene to extinguish the blaze and prevent the situation from escalating.
Hours later, at 2:26 AM, a second fire broke out on Roger de Flor street, in the Gràcia neighborhood. On this occasion, two containers were affected, and a parked vehicle sustained damage due to the flames.
The intervention of a witness was crucial in the second incident. This person observed a young individual allegedly starting the fire and immediately alerted emergency services. Shortly after, officers from the Policia Municipal and the Mossos d'Esquadra located the suspect and proceeded with the arrest. According to police sources, the individual is a minor.
