The Minyons de Terrassa human tower group held a special recruitment day this Saturday, March 7th, in Terrassa, focusing on attracting young children to ensure the group's generational continuity.

The event at Cal Reig featured workshops where children could try on the traditional sash and helmet. Activities included balance exercises and circus skills, designed to introduce the youngest citizens to the world of castells. Organizers emphasized that a steady flow of children is essential as they eventually outgrow their roles at the top of the towers.

"The more children we have, the more human towers we can build."

The day concluded with the first performance of the season, where the Minyons demonstrated the progress made during their initial rehearsals. The group aims to use this momentum to reach new heights and overcome technical challenges throughout the coming year.
