Nearly 250 people protested this Wednesday in Sant Cugat del Vallès as part of the region-wide education strike in Catalonia to demand better working conditions.

The day began with information pickets at local schools and institutes. Later, protesters gathered at Plaça d'Octavià and marched to the Sant Cugat Town Hall. The demonstration included primary and secondary teachers, as well as childcare and leisure education professionals.

"Current conditions make it difficult to guarantee quality education for all children and young people."
