The establishment, which defines itself as a unique space in the city, is designed for babies aged 0 to 12 months and their families. The inauguration was attended by the mayor Jordi Ballart and the Councilor for Commerce, Xavier Cardona.
According to the project's initiators, the center goes beyond a simple activity, aiming to accompany babies and families through a "unique" life stage with "respect, calm, and closeness." It offers hydrotherapy, relaxation, and sensory experiences to promote the motor development of the youngest ones.
This business, part of the physical wellness sector, offers individual sessions and monthly subscriptions. The staff includes specialists in child wellness, physiotherapists, and trained baby care monitors. While Terrassa already has similar spaces focused on child wellness, such as Nadons Fisioteràpia i Osteopatia, Babyposeidon distinguishes itself as a comprehensive aquatherapy center.
The benefits of baby aquatherapy are numerous. It is highlighted for improving coordination, strengthening muscles, stimulating the respiratory system and lung capacity. Furthermore, water stimulates the senses in a balanced way, reduces tension, promotes calmness, enhances digestive comfort, and contributes to better rest. The strengthening of family emotional bonds and natural adaptation to water are also emphasized.
