The program Operación Triunfo, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary in October, will continue its trajectory with a new season in 2027. This will be the third consecutive edition to be broadcast via the paid platform Prime Video, following the 2023 and 2025 seasons.
As reported by the specialized media outlet VerTele, the renewal ensures the continuity of the format, which will maintain its facilities at the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya, located in Terrassa. This complex, which occupies the former Hospital del Tòrax, will host both the academy where contestants train and the set from which the live galas are broadcast.

The production company Gestmusic is already working with Prime Video on the preparation of this new installment, respecting the production cycle of one edition every two years. This news comes after rumors suggesting a possible return of the format to Televisión Española, which were denied by Gestmusic's general director, Tinet Rubira, who reaffirmed confidence in the current platform.
The 2025 edition was particularly successful, boosting the careers of talents such as the singer from Terrassa, Guillo Rist, who reached the final stages of the competition. Meanwhile, the OT 2025 concert tour kicks off this Saturday in Bilbao and is scheduled to stop at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on July 10.
