The Patí Hoquei Club Sant Cugat has officially declined to host the WSE Cup Final Four in Sant Cugat del Vallès due to the poor state of the local sports facilities.

Club president Raimon Casas met with Sports Councilor Núria Escamilla this Monday to confirm that the Pav 2 arena is not suitable for the event. Concerns regarding the parquet floor and upcoming locker room renovations made the bid unfeasible.
Despite not hosting, Borja Ferrer's team is expected to qualify for the finals after a dominant 1-6 victory against Coutras. Other potential hosts for the March event include Voltregà and Portugal's Sanjoanense.
