The People's Party (PP) will present a motion at the Terrassa city council meeting next Friday, urging the local government to take legal action against repeat offenders.

The initiative, led by spokesperson Marta Giménez, suggests that municipal legal services should act as a private prosecution in criminal cases. This would focus on incidents severely affecting local businesses and public safety in the Valles Occidental region.

"The City Council cannot remain a simple observer of the degradation of certain neighborhoods or commercial areas."

The most significant part of the proposal is the request for restraining orders. The PP wants the council to ask judges to ban these criminals from living in or entering Terrassa, both as a precautionary measure and as part of final sentencing.
