Preventive Intervention for Tree About to Fall on Sabadell's Ronda d'Europa

The Generalitat Firefighters and Sabadell Municipal Police coordinated this Friday afternoon to fell a tree on Ronda d'Europa that was about to fall, thus preventing potential damage.

The danger alert was received at 3:56 PM, warning about the instability of a tree threatening to collapse. Faced with this situation, an emergency protocol was activated to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
To facilitate the work of the rescue teams and prevent any incidents, traffic was cut off on a section of Ronda d'Europa. This measure allowed the personnel to work with maximum safety and efficiency.
A unit of the Firefighters was responsible for carrying out the preventive felling of the tree. The rapid action of the emergency services was crucial in preventing the situation from resulting in personal injury or material damage, as they arrived on site before the problem escalated.
This intervention is part of a series of preventive actions that have been carried out in the city of Sabadell since the beginning of the year. After several tree and lamppost falls recorded during episodes of heavy rain and strong winds, inspections and interventions have been intensified on those specimens that pose a risk of falling in different parts of the municipality.
