Railway traffic was interrupted this Thursday between Calaf and Manresa on the R4 line, and between Rubí and Castellbisbal on the R8 line, due to infrastructure incidents.

The R4 line is experiencing an interruption between Calaf and Manresa due to problems with the electrification systems. According to Adif, the cause was the collapse of part of a barn's roof onto the overhead line in the section between Calaf and Sant Vicenç de Castellet. This incident is also causing delays on the same line.
Concurrently, the R8 line is interrupted between Rubí and Castellbisbal. The reason is an incident with the infrastructure at Castellbisbal station.
Renfe has arranged an alternative bus service to address the disruptions. For the R4 line, road transport is provided between the affected stations. In the case of the R8, the alternative service connects Martorell Central and Rubí, with a stop at Castellbisbal.
