The S1 and S2 lines of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) experienced delays and crowding this Monday afternoon due to an obstruction on the tracks between Les Planes and Sant Cugat Centre.

Train circulation on the Barcelona-Vallès line of FGC was interrupted for hours between the Les Planes and Sant Cugat Centre stations. This situation led to significant crowding at both access points and affected stations.
According to information from FGC, the incident occurred around 3:23 PM. Initially, service was maintained between Plaça Catalunya and Les Planes, and also from Sant Cugat towards Sabadell and Terrassa, while the central section remained out of service.
Subsequently, at 3:46 PM, a partial restoration of service between La Floresta and Sant Cugat was announced. Despite this, the S1 and S2 lines continued to operate with frequencies of approximately 20 minutes, due to the regulation tasks required to normalize the service.

"Several users have expressed that there are still delays and a lack of information regarding the actual state of the service. Some passengers claim that trains remain stopped or are accumulating significant delays, while others lament not receiving clear updates about the incident."
