The municipality of Ripollet is participating this year in European Mobility Week 2026, themed "Mobility for All" and celebrated from September 16th to 22nd. The City Council has organized an afternoon of activities specifically for Tuesday, September 22nd, coinciding with the European Car-Free Day, aiming to promote more sustainable, safe, and accessible mobility for all citizens.
Activities will commence from 5:00 PM at the Pistes de l’ESBAR and along the rambla de Sant Esteve. The goal is to raise citizen awareness about different ways to travel within the city and to highlight the importance of using public space safely and respectfully.
The Local Police of Ripollet will organize a Safe Mobility Circuit. Additionally, Casa Natura will offer a Memory game on sustainable and safe mobility. The event will also feature an activity in a wheelchair, led by Entretots.
European Mobility Week is a significant initiative that seeks to promote alternatives to private vehicles, thereby encouraging walking, cycling, public transport, and other forms of sustainable mobility.
