The mayor of Rubí, Ana María Martínez Martínez, has sent a letter to Endesa demanding an urgent solution to the continuous electricity supply cuts in the municipality. The mayor demands from the company "a firm response" that guarantees a reliable service "worthy of a city of over eighty-two thousand inhabitants".
In the communication, the mayor expresses the discontent and concern generated by these incidents, which recurrently affect thousands of families and harm the city's commercial and industrial activity. The incidents occur throughout the municipality, being particularly common in neighborhoods like Ca n'Oriol, which "demonstrates that this is an anomalous situation", she remarks.
Martínez recalls in her letter the widespread outage during the last Festa Major, which adds to the multiple "unacceptable" incidents that affect citizens daily.
Given this situation, the mayor demands from Endesa a formal response and information on the specific measures that will be adopted to prevent these episodes from recurring.
