The Generalitat Firefighters responded to seven emergency calls in Rubi until 2:00 PM this Wednesday, February 11, mostly involving fallen trees and urban hazards caused by strong winds.

Most interventions were due to fallen trees or branches at risk of falling onto public roads. One notable incident involved a leaning utility pole on Violeta Street. The majority of calls occurred early in the morning between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
The Meteorological Service of Catalonia predicts conditions will worsen. A very high red danger level (6 out of 6) has been activated for this Thursday, February 12, across twenty regions.
In Vallès Occidental, the extreme danger warning will be active from midnight until noon on Thursday. Wind gusts are expected to reach 100 kilometers per hour, prompting local authorities to advise citizens to take extreme precautions.
