The Rubí City Council has finished the renovation of the artificial turf at the 25 de Setembre municipal football fields and the Can Rosés athletics track, enhancing conditions for sports practice.

The works, which also include the renewal of sports equipment and maintenance tasks in other facilities, update the sports surfaces of two municipal installations frequently used by local clubs and entities.
The work on the 25 de Setembre municipal football field is already completed. Soon, the turf renovation on the football field located at the Can Rosés athletics track is expected to finish. The intervention involved removing the existing turf, preparing the base, installing the new artificial surface, marking the playing fields, and infilling with alternative materials.
The surface renovation is complemented by the replacement of the football 11 and football 7 goals in these two facilities. This action is part of a series of improvements to municipal sports facilities, which will also include the renewal of football 7 goals at the fields of Can Fatjó, Can Rosés, and Can Mir.
Furthermore, the Can Rosés athletics track is undergoing various pavement maintenance and other improvements expected to be completed before the end of the year. In the Can Rosés pavilion, works to restore and reform the flooring and improve access to the changing rooms have already been finished.
The objective of these interventions is to maintain and update municipal sports facilities, ensuring adequate conditions for sports practice. The works are subsidized by the Generalitat (for the 25 de Setembre turf) and the Diputació de Barcelona (for the Can Rosés pavilion reforms).
