The iconic Valero Grup from Sabadell has been acquired by the investment vehicle Valero Bakes S.L., ensuring that daily operations remain under family leadership in the Vallès Occidental region.

The new owner, Valero Bakes S.L., was established last September to take over the 65-year-old company. The group operates thirty bakeries across Sabadell and the Vallès area. The acquisition involved two capital increases totaling 800,000 euros.
While Xavier Moragas Freixa and Nicolás Patrone Gadea lead the new board, Esteve Corsellas Valero continues as corporate director. This move preserves the expertise of the third generation of the founding family within the company, which employs over 440 people.
The group manages two main brands: Antic Tradicional and Panificadora Valero, producing all goods locally in Sabadell. The company reported a turnover of 28 million euros at the end of 2025.
