The Grup Disbauxa has unveiled the program for the Sabadell Carnival, starting on Saturday, February 14, highlighting the change in the main parade's route on Sunday, which will now conclude at Eix Macià.

The main novelty of the Rua de la Disbauxa, which will take place on Sunday afternoon, is the modification of its route and the half-hour earlier start time. The procession, featuring 2,380 participants, will depart at 4:30 PM from Gran Via (near la Gironina) and finish at Eix Macià, a wider area allowing participants to showcase their floats better.

"It will be a special edition."

The parade route will pass through Rambla, Passeig de la Plaça Major, Passeig Manresa, Via Massagué, and Ronda Zamenhof. The organization confirmed the participation of 29 groups, 18 of which are from Sabadell, with the rest coming from neighboring towns like Sant Quirze and Sentmenat.
Regarding prizes, 4,800 euros will be distributed among 14 awards, including four surprise prizes. The ceremony will take place at 9:00 PM at Plaça de l’Argub, followed by the arrival of the Vella Quaresma and the burning of the Rei Carnestoltes (Carnival King), performed by the Tabalers and the Ball de Diables de Sabadell.
Activities begin on Saturday, February 14, with the children's program at Plaça del Doctor Robert, including workshops, the costume contest, and the Pregó del Rei infantil 'Els Reietons'. Additionally, 25 educational centers will organize school parades involving over 8,000 children, and various neighborhoods like Ca n’Oriac and La Creu Alta will host their own celebrations.
