Thousands of people gathered this March at the Catalunya Park amphitheater in Sabadell to celebrate the 16th edition of the Holi Festival, organized by the Asana Centre.

The festivities began in the morning with dance performances by various groups from the center. The highlight of the day occurred at noon, following a collective countdown that led to the massive throwing of colored powders, a signature tradition in this Vallès Occidental city.

Holi is a traditional Hindu celebration marking the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

Known globally as the festival of colors, this event symbolizes renewal and joy. While originating in India, the Sabadell celebration has established itself as one of the most popular and well-attended versions of the festival in Catalonia.
