Sabadell comeback against Algeciras to strengthen league lead

CE Sabadell defeated Algeciras CF 3-1 this Saturday at the Nova Creu Alta stadium, maintaining their top spot in Primera Federación Group 2.

Despite falling behind early to a Javi Avilés goal, Ferran Costa's side reacted strongly in the second half. Substitute Agustín Coscia leveled from the penalty spot and later added a second goal, while Miguelete sealed the win in stoppage time.
The victory takes the Catalan side to 50 points, increasing their lead at the top of the standings. The match also saw the return of David Astals from injury in front of a crowd of 3,551 fans.
