Sabadell City Council has announced plans to install a giant screen to follow the world cup football semifinals and final, provided the team qualifies.

The initiative, which remains subject to sporting results, aims to provide a collective viewing space for citizens. The council stated that the technical setup will be managed by an external company, although the exact location has not yet been finalized.
While the final site is yet to be determined, the Parc Catalunya amphitheater is considered the most likely venue. This location has been the traditional setting for large-scale sports broadcasts in the city, such as during the 2024 Euro Cup or the 2010 World Cup final.
The council noted that it will provide further details regarding the organization and final location of the screen once the qualification for the semifinals, scheduled for later in July, is confirmed.
