The company Bon Preu has confirmed it will launch a new Esclat hypermarket on Rambla Ibèria in Sabadell before the end of 2026.

This future establishment will become the largest retail point the chain currently operates in the city. The facilities will cover an area exceeding 5,000 m2 on a strategic road artery used by over 10,000 vehicles daily.
The construction plan includes an underground parking lot with capacity for more than 200 vehicles, accessible via Pau Claris Street. The project's execution followed a mobility study that resulted in several urban modifications in the surrounding area.
Planned changes include an additional exit via Frederic Soler Street and the addition of a second lane to the section of Pau Claris Street between Rambla Ibèria and Frederic Soler Street. Additionally, the traffic direction on Permanyer Street will be reorganized.
The company expects the opening of this center to create approximately sixty new jobs. This launch is part of the group's expansion strategy, which also includes opening another establishment in Castellar del Vallès during the final four months of the year.
