The Sabadell City Council, supported by local bookstores, has organized the literary cycle La Prèvia, which will bring 37 authors to the Gremi de Fabricants between January 28 and April 13.

The La Prèvia program, which focuses on new editorial releases, features prominent figures in the Catalan literary scene such as Màrius Serra, Montse Virgili, Sílvia Soler, Jaume Clotet, Ariadna Oltra, Toni Padilla, Xavier Grasset, and Agnès Marquès. The cycle will begin on January 28 with a talk about the legacy of Miquel Crusafont, led by his children Anna and Miquel Crusafont.
Throughout February and March, works such as El jardí adormit by Carla Gracia (February 2), La flama apagada del desig by Gerard Guix (February 9), and Els moixons by Montse Virgili (February 23) will be presented. The schedule also includes thematic sessions on essays and children's literature, featuring Laia Codina and other local talents, complementing the national authors' presentations.

"The agreement with the Gremi de Fabricants allows for the democratization of the entity's space, appealing to Sabadell's textile tradition."

The program also features the presentation of XXL by water polo player Paula Leitón on March 19. Among the most anticipated events is the session with Francesc Torralba, Josep Pla Prize 2026 winner, who will present Anatomia de l'esperança on March 26. The cycle will conclude on April 13 with Agnès Marquès and her book La segona vida de Ginebra Vern.

"We champion a good book in the world of screens."
