Four writers from Sabadell presented their latest literary works this Wednesday, March 11, at the Gremi de Fabricants headquarters as part of the Sant Jordi 2026 celebrations.

The session, curated by Montse Barderi, showcased a variety of genres. Josep Asensio introduced his debut collection of stories, En el cielo no hay jamón y otras historias, while José Antonio Bonilla presented Lady Detective, an essay highlighting the role of women in the history of private investigation.
The event also featured Mercè Cabrera Fosch, author of the award-winning novel La pau que ens ofegava, set in post-war Sabadell. Additionally, Carme Falguera Sanz presented Cafè amb lletres, a choral work inspired by real-life stories of women overcoming gender-based violence.

"The book is having great success among reading clubs and will even be required reading for high school students in Aguilas."
