The exhibition Ecos de la moda romántica, curated by Josep Casamartina and Ismael Núñez Muñoz, has propelled Madrid's National Museum of Romanticism to a historic visitor record during the past month of March.

The display, spearheaded by the Fundació Antoni de Montpalau from Sabadell, significantly contributed to a 146% increase in visitor numbers compared to the same period last year, exceeding 26,000 people. This success solidifies the foundation's trajectory in promoting haute couture.
The collaboration with Netflix for the series Los Bridgerton, along with the opening of a new cafeteria and bookstore, also influenced public attraction. The exhibition, which can be visited until June 7, features forty pieces of 20th and 21st-century clothing, including designs by figures such as Pertegaz, Balenciaga, Teresa Helbig, and Sybilla.
Additionally, until May 17, three dresses by Ana Locking, María Escoté, and Palomo Spain are on display, reinterpreting the universe of the popular Netflix series, adding a contemporary appeal to the proposal.
The Fundació Antoni de Montpalau, based in Sabadell and custodian of thousands of dresses, will have a permanent space in the future Municipal History Museum, to be located in the former Gas Museum. This new space will house its haute couture collection and allow for temporary exhibitions. During the Catalan Culture Capital 2024, the foundation already stood out with the cycle Sabadell es posa de moda, receiving a great reception.
