The ruling from the sole judge of non-professional competitions detailed two infractions that resulted in the economic sanction for the Arlequinat club. The main fine, amounting to 6,001 euros, pertains to an incident that occurred upon the arrival of the Madrid reserve team at the stadium.
According to the referee's report, CE Sabadell's security director, José Centeno, reported that a member of the club's technical secretariat pushed Real Madrid Castilla player Álvaro Leiva, leading to a scuffle with goalkeeping coach Diego López Rodríguez. These events were witnessed by the coordinator of the Mossos d'Esquadra.
The second sanction imposed is for 100 euros and relates to a problem with the sprinkler system in the visiting team's warm-up area. The visiting club's delegate reported that the sprinklers were activating randomly in the area where Real Madrid Castilla was conducting its warm-up exercises. The issue was resolved shortly thereafter.
Additionally, CE Sabadell's request to have Coscia's second yellow card rescinded, which would have allowed him to play in the first leg of the final, has been rejected. Therefore, the suspension remains in effect for the upcoming match.
