The Sant Cugat FC and the Egala NGO have successfully completed their fourth mission to Boulembou, Senegal, focusing on youth soccer, education, and gender parity.

Four coaches from the Sant Cugat club, including Uri Peix, Asier Zárate, and Natàlia Baquè, spent a week at the local soccer school. The project reached more than 130 children, many of whom experienced organized matches for the first time in their lives.

"It changes your way of thinking and you take home many magical moments."

The director of Egala, Jaume Garcia, emphasized that the program requires all participants to be enrolled in school. Furthermore, the initiative strictly promotes girls' participation in soccer, a milestone for the Boulembou community. Plans are now underway to establish a local league.
