Vallès has reiterated his request to ease the access restrictions to the mountain range, in effect since late last year due to African swine fever (ASF). According to the mayor, the citizens of Sant Cugat "have run out of patience" with the limitations affecting activities such as walking, running, or playing sports.
"Enough is enough, let's find solutions: we cannot keep postponing, postponing, and postponing," Vallès insisted in a statement, emphasizing the need to find alternatives to ensure access to this natural space.
