Between 8 PM on Tuesday and 8 AM on Wednesday, Terrassa firefighters handled a total of 74 incidents. Of these, 36 were urban fires, with 24 containers and five homes burning. There were also 28 vegetation fires, including two agricultural, five forest, and 21 urban vegetation fires. Additionally, four traffic accidents, three elevator rescues, and three home floods occurred.
One of the most significant incidents took place on Doctor Salvà street. At 5:04 AM, a fire in a vehicle parked in the garage of a single-family home required intervention. Using a ladder truck, firefighters rescued a person from the dwelling's balcony. The Emergency Medical System (SEM) dispatched three ambulances and attended to the individual, though no hospital transfer was necessary. The fire, which affected the garage and ground floor, was extinguished by 6:17 AM.
Another fire occurred in Pablo Neruda square, in the Can Palet neighborhood. According to witnesses, the fire started when a family threw a firecracker at a tree. The flames, initially small, eventually affected a second tree before firefighters quickly extinguished them.

Regionally, Vallès Occidental recorded 283 alerts for firefighters, the highest number in Catalonia. These included a preventive deployment, 121 vegetation fires, 136 miscellaneous fires (containers, vehicles, homes), and 25 additional services (accidents, rescues, floods). The emergency number 112 managed 1,660 incidents in the region, second only to Barcelonès.
In Castellbisbal, firefighters were alerted at 2:03 AM to a fire in a semi-detached single-family home in the Comte de Sert urbanization. The fire was located at the back of the garage on the basement level (-1). All residents were able to evacuate safely.
Miki López, Chief Inspector of the Special Operations Group of Firefighters, noted that this year's Sant Joan eve remained within expected parameters, with many simultaneous services, particularly in metropolitan areas due to small urban fires, but without any significant serious incidents. He thanked the public for their responsibility in following safety recommendations.
