Shopkeepers in the Sant Pere Nord neighborhood of Terrassa are organizing to regain their collective voice through a new business association, following the dissolution of the previous group.

A group of twenty business owners recently met with Deputy Mayor Xavier Cardona to discuss the necessity of a strong, representative entity. This move comes after the previous association, Som Sant Pere Nord, which started in 2022, was forced to close due to a lack of leadership and funding issues.

"We have offered them all the necessary support to make it possible, because we believe in collaborative work."

The new association aims to revitalize the district, which serves as the second most important commercial hub in Terrassa. Key priorities for the upcoming organization include improving urban mobility and neighborhood security through direct negotiations with the local government.
