The Terrassa Esclerosi Múltiple association successfully organized its first charity race this Sunday at Can Roca Park, bringing together nearly a thousand participants in Terrassa.

The event saw 800 registered runners and over 150 donations through 'bib number zero'. The initiative aimed to raise awareness and funds for local patients, focusing on inclusivity and community support.

"It makes us see that we are not alone, that there are people who know about this and support us so we can move forward."

Funds raised will finance essential services such as psychomotricity and memory workshops. Organizers are already considering making the race an annual event in Terrassa, aiming to exceed 1,000 participants next year.
