The Terrassa City Council has submitted a collaboration agreement with Viladecavalls to manage cleaning and waste services in the El Molinot sector this February 2026.

The Ecological Transition Commission has approved a strategic partnership with Viladecavalls. This measure aims to streamline public services for the 40 residents of this neighborhood, which is located within Terrassa territory but sits directly on the border with the neighboring municipality.
The agreement follows a budget increase of 60,000 euros for garbage collection in the area, prompting the search for more efficient alternatives. Similar solutions were previously implemented in the Font de l'Espardanyera area.
Additionally, Terrassa hosted a technical conference organized by the Barcelona Provincial Council at Vapor Gran. The event focused on the management of agricultural parks, specifically discussing the 440 hectares of the Green Belt.
