The Terrassa City Council has implemented online processing for the social vulnerability report, a key document for the regularization of foreign residents in the municipality.

This new functionality allows Terrassa residents to apply for the report through the municipal Electronic Headquarters, eliminating the need to visit the Montserrat Roig and President Macià Civic Centers, where the process could previously only be carried out in person.

"From the City Council, we wanted to ensure that this procedure is also accessible to everyone, enabling the possibility of doing it through a representative and reinforcing digital support, so that access to rights does not depend on the technological tools available."

The initiative aims to simplify access to a fundamental procedure for many citizens, reducing access barriers and streamlining management. Furthermore, it avoids queues and saves time, making the process more efficient and accessible for all.
The social vulnerability report is a requirement for the extraordinary regularization process promoted by the Government of Spain last April. This document certifies situations of precariousness or risk of social exclusion through a prior technical assessment by municipal Social Services.
For online processing, it is essential to have a qualified, valid, and current digital certificate. Those who do not have one can submit the application through a duly authorized representative. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30.
