Terrassa FC suffered a heavy 1-4 defeat against Castellon B this Sunday at the Olympic Stadium, a result that severely damages their chances of reaching the promotion playoffs.

The match was largely decided in a poor first half by Chus Alsina's side. The visitors took full advantage of the lack of defensive intensity to lead 0-2 at halftime following a collective play and a midfield turnover.
Despite a triple substitution at halftime and an own goal that gave Terrassa hope, the comeback never materialized. Goalkeeper Marcos Pérez saved a penalty to keep the team alive, but the woodwork and missed chances proved costly.
As the home side pushed forward, Castellon B sealed the victory with two late counter-attacks. Following the results of February 22nd, the team sits in ninth place, five points adrift of the playoff positions.
