The Terrassa City Council has presented the repair project for the large sinkhole on Calle Ample, located in the Sant Pere Nord neighborhood, one year after it first appeared.

Public Works Councilor Montserrat Alba met with the Sant Pere Nord Neighborhood Association to discuss the timeline. The Local Government Board is set to give initial approval to the project on March 20, followed by the bidding process.
The project involves replacing the main sewer collector and an old water pipe managed by Taigua. By combining these tasks, the city aims to minimize disruption for residents between Avinguda Jaume I and Calle Pompeu Fabra.
Construction is expected to last five months, with a completion goal set for before January 2027. This intervention addresses structural failures that began when the collector broke in March 2025.
