The city of Terrassa demonstrated its rejection of armed violence by raising the peace flag. This initiative follows a City Council agreement aimed at increasing visibility for war victims and promoting multilateralism. Approximately two hundred people gathered in front of the town hall for the ceremony.

Mayor Jordi Ballart expressed his concern regarding the escalation of current global tensions. The event featured speeches by International Relations Councilor Rosa Boladeras and civil representatives such as Joan Tamayo. Zineb El Asri Ajaji, from the Raha association, was responsible for reading the official manifesto.
The institutional declaration, supported by most political groups including PSC, ERC, and Junts, condemns unilateral military actions. This action also links to International Women's Day celebrations, focusing on women in war zones, with a keynote panel scheduled for March 5th at the Teatre Principal.
