The city of Terrassa has been chosen by RTVE as the filming location for its upcoming show El juicio, which will be produced at the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya facilities.

This new format marks the return of 'court shows' to Spanish public television and will air during La 1's prime time. Renowned journalist José Luis Sastre will host the program, which uses a judicial setting to debate pressing social issues.
The production, a collaboration with Abacus, is inspired by the classic 1980s show Tribunal popular. Each episode will feature a judge, lawyers, and a jury responsible for delivering a verdict after hearing evidence and witness testimony.

"The jury will be a plural portrait of society, in a moment of great ideological polarization."
