The police operation began following a witness's alert about the suspicious behavior of a vehicle driver on a street in Valldoreix, who was persistently observing several houses. Citizen security patrols of the Mossos d'Esquadra quickly located the vehicle with a man in the driver's seat.
During the intervention, officers observed a second individual, dressed in black and wearing gloves, jumping a residential fence and fleeing upon detecting police presence. After a foot chase, he was intercepted about 300 meters from the scene. Tools such as a crowbar and a large screwdriver, commonly used for forced entry, were found on him. Subsequently, similar items were found in the vehicle, confirming coordination between the suspects.
The operation was made possible thanks to the rapid intervention of citizen security patrols and the collaboration of an off-duty officer.
Concurrently, an off-duty Mosso d'Esquadra, who was near the area, observed a third man jumping a two-meter metallic gate of a home. The officer began searching for the suspect and located him as he attempted to flee into a wooded area. After identifying himself and issuing verbal commands, the officer managed to detain him until uniformed patrols arrived. All three arrested individuals were brought before the duty court in Rubí on Wednesday.
