Two people were injured early Saturday morning in Terrassa when a vehicle fleeing from the Local Police crashed head-on into their car on the N-150 highway.

The incident began around midnight when a driver refused to stop at a breathalyzer checkpoint between Terrassa and Sabadell. The suspect fled at high speed, leading municipal officers on a dangerous pursuit through the Valles Occidental region.
During the escape, the offender drove against traffic, eventually striking an oncoming vehicle heading towards Terrassa. The victims' car was completely destroyed, requiring Firefighters to extract the two occupants from the wreckage before they were treated by Emergency Medical Services (SEM).
Despite the heavy damage to his own car, the driver attempted to continue his flight on three wheels but was quickly intercepted and arrested by Terrassa police officers just meters from the crash site.
