A vehicle fell onto the train tracks in Sabadell, causing the interruption of the R4 line service between Cerdanyola del Vallès and Terrassa Estació del Nord. Service was later restored.

Train circulation on the R4 line was interrupted this morning between Cerdanyola del Vallès and Terrassa Estació del Nord due to a car falling onto the tracks. The incident led to a halt in rail service for approximately one hour.
The accident occurred on Moragas i Barret street in Sabadell. The Generalitat Firefighters received the alert at 9:43 AM. Of the four occupants in the vehicle, three were able to exit the track area on their own. The fourth occupant was escorted to the station, located about 300 meters away, to receive medical attention.
Five fire crews worked on responding to the incident. Civil Protection activated the Ferrocat plan's pre-alert. The train traveling on the affected track managed to brake in time and did not collide with the car, thus avoiding injuries among passengers.
Around 10:50 AM, the railway company confirmed the restoration of service on this section. Trains are currently progressively recovering their usual frequencies.
