The Vallès Occidental County Council started the Integral Plus program this February to facilitate industrial job placement for people over 45 years old within the local region.

The initiative aims to place 20 people in strategic sectors such as pharmaceuticals, metalworking, plastics manufacturing, or the food industry. The program combines 116 hours of professional training with personalized support throughout the recruitment process.
To participate, candidates must be over 45 years old and unemployed, or over 30 years old if they are long-term unemployed. Participants must reside in municipalities such as Castellbisbal, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Cerdanyola, or Santa Perpètua de la Mogoda.
Companies choosing permanent hiring can access a subsidy of up to 12,430.98 euros for each 18-month full-time contract. The deadline to formalize these contracts and join the program is July 1, 2026.
This County Council project seeks to address the difficulties faced by companies in Vallès Occidental when filling technical positions while promoting industrial careers among groups with higher unemployment rates.
