The Sant Cugat-based publisher Veles i Vents Edicions has released the Catalan translation of La meva visió del món (My Worldview) by Albert Einstein this March.

Translated by Anna Soler Horta, the book features a collection of essays where Einstein discusses politics, religion, and the moral responsibility of scientists. Xavier Roqué, a renowned expert on Einstein from Sant Cugat, provided the prologue, highlighting the intellectual's commitment to social justice.

"Einstein was very aware of the power of his voice and used it for social and political causes."

The anthology, originally published in 1934, portrays Einstein not just as a physicist but as a humanist. The release also recalls Einstein's historic visit to Sant Cugat and Terrassa over a century ago, invited by the Mancomunitat de Catalunya.
