Cecot has reelected Xavier Panés as president in Terrassa for the next four years, following a general assembly where his candidacy received unanimous support.

Cecot has confirmed the continuation of Xavier Panés at the helm of the entity's presidency for a new four-year term. The decision was made during the General Electoral Assembly held in Terrassa this Wednesday, bringing an end to an electoral process initiated last April. Panés's candidacy was the only one presented and received unanimous support from the Assembly members.
In his speech, Panés expressed his "emotion" and "sense of responsibility" for the trust received, considering it an incentive to continue moving forward. He stated he faces the coming years "more motivated and encouraged than ever," aiming to refine past work and continue generating value for member companies.
The president emphasized the need to approach this new phase with "exigency" and "moving away from any complacency," highlighting that "we still have many challenges to address and much work to do." According to Panés, this approach defines the entity's identity, and the next four years should be dedicated to "accelerating progress" sustainably, seizing the "many opportunities" that arise.
The employers' association views this new mandate as "a new stage aimed at strengthening the entity's impact capacity" both internally and institutionally. The primary goal is to "increase its utility for associated companies and the business community as a whole".
Operationally, Cecot plans to evolve its models by incorporating digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Concurrently, services will be expanded and adapted to meet the real competitiveness challenges faced by businesses.
The commitment to strengthen the Business and Professional Community model will involve expanding the membership base and creating new collaboration spaces, fostering "more connections and opportunities between companies and professionals" to generate shared value.
