The exhibition serves as a tribute to the students who have passed through the school's classrooms and corridors during Utset's more than thirty years of teaching. The show stems from the exchanges and encounters experienced over this period.
Utset, who holds a degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in sculpture, expressed her hope that visitors will find her personal artistic journey, now presented retrospectively, to be interesting. The exhibition will be open to the public until June 15th, from Monday to Friday, between 4 PM and 9 PM.
With a background that includes studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona, Escola Massana, and the Ecole National Superieure de Beaux Arts in Paris, Xon Utset has been a key figure in art education in Terrassa. Prior to her tenure at the Municipal School of Art and Design, she also taught plastic arts at the La Roda school.
Among her most recognized works is the commemorative monument for the 50th anniversary of the Club Egara. Throughout her artistic career, she has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, particularly in the halls of Amics de les Arts i Joventuts Musicals de Terrassa, an entity with which she maintains a close connection. In recent years, her work has also been featured in group exhibitions at Galeria Paüls and the Mostra d’Art Local de la Casa Alegre de Sagrera.
