The project, supported by the urban community Populus Labora, stems from the experience of the El Local Network of Entities and aims to professionalize culture from a community and cooperative perspective. With over thirty years of history, El Local has been a meeting point for cultural entities in Ripollet, and the Network of Entities, established in 2024, brings together about ten collectives sharing spaces and resources.
La Llançadora seeks to provide tools for interested individuals to develop their artistic projects, seek funding, and, if desired, turn them into professional activities. The initiative promotes the exchange of knowledge and resources among artists from different disciplines to generate new opportunities for cooperation and self-employment.
The main activity will be an itinerary for boosting cultural and artistic projects, open to professionals, amateurs, entities, and individuals with a cultural idea. This itinerary will consist of five sessions divided into three blocks: November 17 (participant introductions and collaborations), December 1 (cultural rights), and December 15 (project viability). On January 12, territorial alliances will be discussed, and in March 2027, activities will take place in Montcada i Reixac along with an inter-cooperation day with La Frontissa. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 8 PM.
The goal is for participants to leave with a more defined project and the tools to develop it autonomously. A joint artistic activity is also planned for July, with a format to be decided by the participants.
La Llançadora also aims to connect cultural professionals, increase the visibility of Ripollet's artistic projects, and establish alliances with other communities in the region. Among the first announced activities are an anti-racist fair on November 15 and new cultural proposals for the town's streets. The project is open to everyone, regardless of membership in El Local.
